Dear Younger Sister,
I have been exploring all of Africa lately, and the city of Umuofia has really stuck out to me. I see this city with great potential. The city is plagued with pollution and trash, though. Something to cure this city would be recycling. In my culture, we have started to recycle in the past 15 years, and I can really tell the difference. The air is cleaner, and the streets have little to no trash. We interviewed a local who will go nameless, but he said, "Are city in places has gotten so polluted that animals are dying and people won't even go there, and the rivers… they are so bad; if you were to swim in them, you would be cut by all the things in the river." In Umuofia, there aren't any recycling services, so we would need to create a fund for recycling bins and a recycling factory. If we can raise enough money, then I will have a gathering of the whole Umofia community and give a speech about how to recycle and why it is essential. I highly recommend this, and it would be a beneficial change in their community.
Kind regards,
Cannon Langley
